LONDON SECTION CHAIR - 2010 - 2011

We have an enthusiastic group of leaders that are committed to working together to serve you. Certification Development Classes will continue to be offered during this business year. Visit the Training Courses tab for a listing of course offerings.

Message from the Chair

I would like to welcome back old members and welcome new members to the London ASQ Chapter's 2010-2011 season. I hope everyone had a fun filled summer.

My name is Marnie Levergood and I am this year’s incoming Chair. In saying that I would like to thank everyone for this opportunity and tell you just how excited I am. We have a wonderful group of
individuals on the executive and we have selected many exciting topics that will interest a diverse group of individuals. We have dedicated this year to reaching out to individuals from many different industries and roles in the effort to promote the benefits that can be gained from ASQ and our local division. Quality is something that impacts everyone and everything, including healthcare, education, biomedical, automotive, retail, service, and government. No matter what your position, there are quality tools and techniques that can be beneficial if learned and applied. We invite you to come and see all the wonderful things our Chapter has to offer …..
I would like to “Thank” everyone on the executive last year for all of their hard work and support to the group. It takes a lot of work and dedication through
volunteers to organize all of these wonderful events.
So again, Thank you to each of you for your time and contributions. Anyone interested in joining the executive or volunteering to be on a committee please
see anyone on the executive team.
We will be meeting at the Best Western StoneRidge Inn & Conference Center just off the 401, 402 and highway 4 intersections. It was selected based on last year’s survey results as a location that is conveniently located near major highways with convenient parking
for the winter months.
We look forward to this exciting topic to kick off the season and hope to see familiar faces and some new ones.
I encourage everyone to take the time to review our website for training courses, test dates, networking opportunities, as well as contact information. If anyone
has any suggestions, we would love to hear them. Our mission is “To Promote and Apply Quality Principles in London and Region through Leadership,
Networking, and Learning Opportunities”.

As a “Quality” organization, we aim to continually improve by implementing suggestions from you, our members. While we have put several things in place over the past year as a result of our monthly meeting surveys, we are certain there are more improvement opportunities. Let us know what you would like to see happening in your section.
