Pranshanth VankayalpatiGreetings and Salutations to ASQ London Section members!
Happy New Year to you and your family & friends.
Our December Charity Social event was held at Lamplighter Inn in co-operation with Project Management Institute (PMI) SWOC which was attended by members from both ASQ & PMI. It was a social event held in the festive spirit of charity and sharing. We had donations from our members and Organizations in London like 3M, TD Bank, ASQ, PMI which helped us raise money for local charities. Thanks and kudos to all involved.

We also had the opportunity to learn about Project Management from Mona Brennan-Coles, PMP. She graciously stepped in and gave us a personal overview of how projects are supposed to be planned while managing people & expectations to deliver the required results This should be based on the project Scope, Time-line and Cost/budget allocated which form the Project Triangle show below.

Quality tools are an integral part of project planning & delivery as it helps measure and evaluate the progress throughout the project. It is important for Project Managers to listen to different stakeholders including team members and especially the key players who help make the change happen successfully. One of the key learning she found true was to treat her team member’s right and in turn found that they always delivered the required results.

“Trust men and they will be true to you; treat them greatly and they will show themselves great.”
 Ralph Waldo Emerson

Come join us on January 10th at Springbank Garden Community Center to hear Dr.Sara Seck speak about social responsibility.

My best wishes to you and your family for a wonderful year ahead.

Best wishes & Peace,
Prashanth Vanakayalpati
