Creative Supplier Relationships

o Discover new creative ways of doing things can be used to enhance supplier
relationships and show positive results for both companies.
o This is an interactive workshop. Participants will be divided into groups.
o Each group will use their ideas and experiences to enhance the relationship
with the supplier in their situation.
o The purpose of this exercise is to get the participants to “think out
of the box” and realize that different isn’t wrong.
o Discuss solutions to a variety of situations, including new and creative
ways to help improve supplier relationships.
Our guest speaker will be Thomas I. Schoenfeldt, of Livonia, MI. Thomas
is an Engineer and is the President of Schoenfeldt Services, Inc., a consulting
firm helping companies with Supplier Management issues & Quality System
Development. He is an active Fellow Member of ASQ, Vice Chair Section
Affairs for the Greater Detroit Section (ASQ), and a Vice Chair of Programs
in the Customer Supplier Division of ASQ. He is serving as a Subject Matter
Expert for the Customer-Supplier Division of ASQ since 1999. He was honored
as the Quality Professional of the Year by the ASQ, Automotive Division
for 2002.
