John Perry has extensive
experience in Quality standards and Implementation including:
- John Perry is
the Senior Advisor & Senior VP for the National Quality Institute
of Canada.
- Chaired the design
committee for the Canadian Quality Criteria (private sector).
- Wrote the NQI-PEP
(Progressive Excellence program), a four-step implementation and certification
process for NQI Quality and Healthy Workplace Criteria.
- In partnership
with other agencies has:
o led the development of the Canadian Quality Criteria for Public Sector
Excellence.
o led the development of the Canadian Healthy Workplace Criteria.
o led the development of the Canadian Excellence in Education Program
o assisted in the development of the Ontario Tourism Excellence Program
- Former member
of the Canadian National Committee on ISO Standards.
- Former Chair of
Adjudication for the Canada Awards for Excellence.
- Business career
that involved him in senior line management positions in England, Holland,
Germany and Canada. Prior to joining NQI he was VP Operations and Corporate
VP of Quality Development for a national organization; the first service
company in North America to receive a national quality award.
