NEXT MEETING - ASQ London Section 0403 presents…. Auditing
- The Process Approach, & the Revised CQA Exam Thursday
– October 14, 2004 Join us for an evening of auditing discussion. We will learn about the development of the revised CQA exam as well as applying the process approach to auditing recommended under the new Quality standards. The Certified Quality Auditor body of knowledge has undergone some major revisions. Based on the new ISO and TS standards the body of knowledge has been updated to include new areas such as process validation, change control, risk management, and a more process centered approach. Come and find out how the ASQ goes about revising the body of knowledge and exam. Steven Britton, our Examining Committee Chair, has extensive experience implementing ISO and QS systems and recently participated in the development of the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor exam. As part of the recent changes in the world of quality, the process approach to auditing is becoming more common. Auditors used to elemental based audits may be a little unsure how to convert to the new methodology. Denis Devos, a long time member of our section, has helped many companies with this transition. Dennis will speak on the new approach and how your business can benefit. Agenda: RSVP your attendance to Shawn Thompson … ShawnThompson@US.TIAuto.com or phone at 519 245-5200 ext 187 Door prize: a free ticket to the Chamber of Commerce awards banquet on March, 2005. GU
