Speaker:
Lynn Savory - Mgt Training Consultant
For the past 16 years she has been in a leadership position at Bell Canada
(Network Provisioning). She is also a certified trainer and facilitator.
In the last 10 years her career has been focused on team development training
& consultancy, management of the training function in a line organization,
and the coaching and development of trainers. Most recently she was Manager-Training
& Process where she helped to plan and operationalize a new training
curriculum in our business unit, where none existed before.
The Topic – Developing High Performance
Teams - We will learn how:
· helping team members recognize their individual and collective
value
· helping team leaders realize the power they have to effect positive
change in their teams
· helping members and leaders optimize their skills in such areas
as consensus decision-making, effective communication strategies, assertive
communication, conflict resolution, meeting management, leveraging diversity,
problem solving, and so on.
· increase the likelihood of meeting team and personal goals
· minimize conflicts and make coming to work simply more enjoyable
for everybody!
