ASQ London Section 0403 presents….

Building a More Effective Team

Thursday - October 12, 2006
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Location: Best Western Lamplighter Inn
591 Wellington Road, London

One of the biggest challenges facing many leaders is building an effective team. We will examine two methods which can go a long in helping develop stronger teams:
1) The “innerview” is a proven method of deepening our connection with our team members and enhances our ability to create an environment that elicits commitment instead of compliance.
2) As we interact with others, we often find ourselves too busy or too distracted to show genuine appreciation. Recognizing the strengths of others requires a conscious effort. What we reflect back to others about themselves also shapes their performance. Making strength comments can also go a long way in getting along with difficult people.

Gary Danner brings to the Ralph Nichols Dale Carnegie Team a wealth of practical experience as a result of his 20 years of Management experience in the manufacturing, food service, construction/flooring, and training sectors. His background positions him as a Business Coach/Trainer truly focused on helping his participants apply their developing skills to bring value to their workplace. His own classroom customer satisfaction rate continues at an impressive 99%. Working as a Business Development Consultant with Nerds On Site, a global technology services company, has ensured that Gary's facilitation skills have remained razor-sharp. A Business Coach/Trainer with Dale Carnegie Training since 1999, Gary finds it rewarding to be helping companies of all different sizes and in various industries become more profitable by developing their people at all levels.
