NEXT MEETING - ASQ London Section 0403 presents…. Tour: Victoria Hospital Health Lab Date: Thurs. May
10th, 2007 Our host for this presentation and tour will be Viki Massey, Manager-Quality and Accreditation of London Laboratory Services Group. Viki has first hand experience as the LLSG leader in their journey through the Ontario Laboratory Accreditation (OLA) process. Viki and the LLSG team were successful in their endeavors, and they have agreed to share their experience, lessons learned and a few best practices to our ASQ membership. Can you imagine developing a Quality Management System and meeting stringent OLA requirements when you have: 55 laboratory areas; different Laboratory Information Systems (LIS); disparate methodologies and policies; and inconsistent quality practices across 4 hospital sites. LLSG overcame these issues and redeveloped their quality system to match their already outstanding health services. · Agenda Come out and learn about their experience, and hopefully take away some lessons that can be applied at your organization. Parking Note: Paid parking is available in lot 7- off Baseline Road. Currently this is the only lot that has after hours parking for $4.00. Participants will have to bring toonies and loonies.
