PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT

The presentation will be a fast-paced and interactive summary of the knowledge area of Project Risk Management, as defined by A Guide to the PM Body of Knowledge. Risk identification, risk mapping, review of quantitative tools, opportunities, risk response planning. Team exercises are included. It is intended to introduce the topic to project managers, project team members and project stakeholders.

The Speaker:
Keith Farndale, MBA, PEng, PMP is President of Procept Associates Ltd., a team of consultants and trainers in project management, business analysis, and IT service management. He is also Program Director of the Project Management Initiative at the Professional Development Centre, Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, University of Toronto, and is an Adjunct Professor in the MEng program. Prior to his current roles, he spent a 20-year career in the management of industrial construction projects. Keith was President of the Southern Ontario Chapter of the Project Management Institute, receiving an Outstanding Contribution award. He is a member of the advisory board for the ProjectWorld Canada annual conference. He is a member of the Ontario Council of Construction Users and is a member of the Canadian Society for Training and Development.
