This
month we will examine the impact of the seven types waste on organizational
performance and how problems can snowball as they move further downstream
through the process. We will question if quality department activities
and waste are related and if the cost of quality is an indication that
waste is present in the process. What is the worst type of waste for
manufacturers and is gold plating a selling feature for the customer?
We will also discuss/review what preventive actions we can take to reduce
waste and save money.
